About Stornoway Communications Stornoway Communications Limited Partnership is wholly owned by Stornoway Investors Group, the sole shareholder of Stornoway Productions Inc. Stornoway Communications was founded in 2000 specifically to apply to the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission for digital specialty broadcast licenses. To meet these newly expanded objectives, Stornoway has capitalized on its business strength, creative approach to programming, and its commitment to delivering a diversity of voices and points of view. Stornoway Communications owns and operates Canadian specialty channels bpm:tv and ichannel, which were launched nationally in September 2001, and The Pet Network, which began broadcasting in the Fall of 2004.
